Floatation Therapy

Experience an hour of the Deepest Relaxation Ever

NO SIGHT

When you switch the pod light off, you will experience total darkness. Some imagine the darkness as a blank canvas for your mind. You can turn the light on again at any time.

NO SOUND

Our float centres and pods are designed to ensure you can experience near total silence. 10 minutes of relaxing music start you off, and another 5 minutes signal your float is coming to an end.

WEIGHTLESSNESS

Your body floats effortlessly, free from weight or pressure. This allows your muscles to relax, and your spine to realign and lengthen. It’s a relief you may not have experienced before.

NO SENSE OF TOUCH

The air and water in the pod are kept at the same temperature as your skin. You won’t be able to feel where the water begins and ends.

What is Floatation Therapy?

Floatation therapy is the practice of effortlessly floating in a specialized pod filled with warm water and over half a ton of Epsom salt.

The high salt concentration creates a weightless, zero-gravity sensation, allowing your body to fully relax while being completely supported by the water.

The air and water are set to body temperature, making the boundaries between your body and the water almost disappear.

With the lid down and lights off, external distractions are reduced to their lowest level, this state is often called Sensory Deprivation or Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy (R.E.S.T.).

Without the usual noise and stimulation of daily life, your body naturally lowers cortisol levels (the stress hormone) and releases endorphins, promoting deep relaxation, mental clarity, and physical recovery.

Many people experience better sleep, reduced muscle tension, and a profound sense of calm after floating.

Intro offer: 3 floats for £99

If you're new to floatation therapy, we highly recommend experiencing it at least three times before deciding if it’s right for you. Floating is unlike anything else, it takes a couple of sessions to truly settle into the experience, embrace the stillness, and fully let go.

🔹 First Float: This is all about adjusting. The sensation of weightlessness, the quiet, and the deep relaxation can feel completely new. Your mind might take time to slow down, and that’s perfectly normal.

🔹 Second Float: By now, you start feeling more comfortable and familiar with the experience. Your body begins to fully relax, and you’ll likely experience deeper states of calm and mental clarity.

🔹 Third Float: This is where the magic happens. Your mind and body now recognize the float environment, making it much easier to fully let go and absorb the full benefits, reduced stress, improved sleep, faster muscle recovery, and mental clarity.

Floating is a practice, and like meditation or exercise, its effects deepen and compound over time. That’s why we encourage starting with three floats in a short period, it’s the best way to truly experience how floatation therapy can benefit you.

The Experience

What to expect.

✔️ Arrive 5 - 10 minutes early to allow time for a full walkthrough and to settle in.

✔️ Avoid caffeine, alcohol, or stimulants a few hours before to help your body fully relax.

✔️ Eat a light meal about 60-90 minutes beforehand to avoid discomfort.

✔️ Avoid shaving or waxing on the day of your float, as the salt may cause irritation.

What to Bring

You don’t need to bring anything we provide disposable bamboo towels, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If you prefer to wear swimwear, bring a bag for wet clothes, but most people float nude for the full experience.

Testimonial

The most relaxed i've felt in years!

I had my first float session yesterday, and I just had to share how incredible the experience was!

From start to finish, everything was so well thought out.

The instructions were clear, making me feel completely at ease, and the post-float herbal tea and sorbet were such a thoughtful touch to round off the experience. I decided to try floating because my life is incredibly stressful, and I’ve been experiencing symptoms of burnout, I was willing to try anything to reset.

While I wasn’t sure if I dozed off, the 60 minutes of silence passed so quickly, which says a lot!

I kept the lid down the entire time, the experience was deeply calming.

The real magic happened after the float, I felt unbelievably relaxed, the most at ease I’ve been in months, maybe even years. The constant tension headache I usually carry? Completely gone. I will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend this to anyone needing a true reset!

Why we float for 60 minutes

Research shows that it takes at least 20–30 minutes for the body to fully relax and shift into the deeply restorative state that makes floating so effective.

A 60-minute float allows time for stress hormones like cortisol to decrease, while endorphins and dopamine levels rise, promoting deep relaxation, muscle recovery, and mental clarity. Studies have found that longer float sessions enhance nervous system regulation, improve sleep quality, and significantly reduce anxiety and tension.

Anything shorter may not give you enough time to fully let go give yourself the full hour, and you’ll feel the difference.

Why Float?

Float therapy is scientifically proven to have profound effects on mental well-being, physical recovery, and overall health. By eliminating external stimuli, light, sound, gravity, and pressure, your body enters a deeply restorative state that enhances relaxation, relieves pain, improves sleep, and promotes mental clarity.

The weightlessness of floating allows every muscle in your body to fully relax, while Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is absorbed through the skin, reducing inflammation and promoting healing. Meanwhile, your brain transitions into theta brainwave states, associated with deep meditation, creativity, and self-awareness.

Here’s how floating can transform your mind, body & beyond.

Tips to improve your float experience

No Stimulants

Avoid caffeine and other stimulants before your float to make it easier for your body and mind to relax.

Be Hydrated

Try to ensure that you are well hydrated before your session, but don't drink too much right beforehand.

Eat A Light Meal

It's best to have a light meal 60 to 90 mins. before your session, rather than floating with a full or empty stomach.

No Shaving Before

Please don't shave anywhere on your face or body before your float session as the epsom salt may sting for some time in the beginning making it more difficult to relax and enjoy your float.

Focus On Your Breath

If your mind is busy, you have difficulty relaxing, or any challenge with the unique environment, it's helpful to focus on your breathing. Take deep breathes and keep your attention on that process.

Float Nude

We recommend floating in the nude to ensure there are no external pressures or restrictions on your body. Our tanks are extremely filtered to ensure cleanliness and the water is kept at skin temperature.

Try Different Positions

Everyone has different preferences: arms above head, pointed up at your side, or down by your body and if you find yourself getting uncomfortable, it can help to switch your arm position.

Don't Stress Over Time

It's fairly common to obsess or stress over time while floating, try to return your focus to your breath and know that our staff and the music in the pod will let you know when your session is over.

No Expectations

There is no 'right' way to float, each and every session is different and it's important to not get caught up thinking you're doing it wrong. Breathe, let go and relax to go deeper.
