Infrared Sauna

Unlike a traditional sauna which uses steam to heat the air in the sauna, an infrared sauna uses infrared light waves to penetrate the body and heat it in the same way light from the sun does but without the harmful UV rays. As it gently heats the body, it makes you sweat and has all the same benefits of a traditional sauna but feel much more comfortable because the air around you isn’t hot.

Near Infrared is the shortest wavelength, and will be absorbed just below the surface of the skin creating a sweat that promotes healing and revitalization.

Mid infrared is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation, releasing oxygen to reach injured areas.

Recovery and Pain Relief

Increased blood circulation carries off metabolic waste products and delivers oxygen-rich blood to oxygen-depleted muscle, so they recover faster.
